Born in Sydney, Australia in 2015, Kandy is a nightlife, music & major events brand, with a huge nationwide following. It’s creator, Rafa ‘MC Rafa’ Cesan, has a lifetime of experience in the music and events industry, beginning his career as a performing artist and event host, releasing music since 2002 and entertaining crowds internationally for over 20 years. In 2010, Rafa became a full time events promoter, organising festivals, concert tours and nightclubs across Australia, Latin America & Spain. Now living permanently in Phuket, Rafa launched his latest project, Kandy Thailand, in 2023.
Kandy Thailand is a Lifestyle, Media, & Events brand with a focus on South East Asia. Attracted by the legalisation of Cannabis in the kingdom, Thailand operations began in Phuket in late 2022, with the building of a 1500m2 indoor growing facility, the island’s biggest. Its grow team consists of American, UK & Australian growers with a combined experience of over 25 years. Following harvests in early 2023, a full range of high quality cannabis products was developed including blunts, pre rolls, extracts, edible gummies & chocolates, as well as other edibles such as Honey, Dulce de Leche & ice cream toppings. Kandy products can be found in over 50 stores across the local region and locations in Bangkok & Pattaya.
